Welcome to Pixley Dell Day Nursery, an amazing childrens nursery in Durham. Our nursery provides a warm, friendly and inviting environment for your child to learn and develop and we ensure that they feel happy and comfortable in our care. We offer three different classes each specifically designed for the designated age group, we care for children from 6 weeks right through to starting school.
At our children’s nursery in Durham, it’s our aim to help your child reach their full potential. We provide a range of different activities daily, each and every one is planned specifically to help your child develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually whilst encouraging self-confidence, independence and respect for themselves and others.
Our team here at Pixley Dell Day Nursery will go above and beyond to help your child settle in at our children’s nursery in Durham. We want all of the children in our care to feel as though they can join in and enjoy any of the activities we have on offer. We understand that not every child is going to be happy all of the time and if they are to become upset for any reason, our staff are on hand to comfort them. We will offer a cuddle, reassurance and gently help them to resume playing. Our aim is to let your child go about their day knowing that they will be looked after if anything was to happen. All of our staff have full enhanced DBS checks regularly and we have a policy of never having any lone staff in the setting, even if there are only 2 or 3 children there is always a minimum of two staff on duty.
The welfare, protection and safety and all of the children in our care is of the utmost importance and we will do all we can to ensure that each child reaches their full potential and is happy and healthy whilst at our nursery.
